There are three pieces of information required to create a forecast image icon URL:

1. Desired icon size
2. Transparent or opaque background
3. Condition code

If you choose a transparent background, the background color of your website will show through the image. For example, the image shown on the left is transparent, the image on the right is opaque. This is how these images would appear on a webpage with a grey background color.

The condition code is returned in observation and forecast calls.

Examples:

A 90 x 76 opaque icon of condition code 176.
